【Markthal Arcade Market】 is located in Lawrence Square in the center of Rotterdam. It is special because it is the world&#39;s first building that combines a market and a residence, making it a new landmark in Rotterdam. Markthal is known as the modern version of the Sistine Chapel. The inner arch is printed with a large mural called &quot;Harvest Corner&quot;, which is the largest artwork in the Netherlands. Under this arched structure, there are more than 80 shops selling fresh food. The arched roof can accommodate 228 apartments and even 1,200 parking spaces. Each apartment has a wide view. You can see the Maas River or Lawrence Church from the outside, and you can see the dynamics of the market through windows or glass floors from the inside, without being affected by market noise or smell.

Just like the city itself, Boijmans stands for extraordinary experiences. The current collection consists of more than 151,000 objects, including masterpieces by artists ranging from Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Bruegel, Jan van Eyck and Rembrandt to Dal&iacute;, Kees van Dongen, Edvard Munch and Charley Toorop. Boijmans also prominently features the installations of contemporary artists, such as Yayoi Kusama&rsquo;s mirror room. The breadth of the collection originated in the passions of private collectors. The museum owes its name to two seminal collectors: Frans Boijmans and Dani&euml;l George van Beuningen. The museum has been closed since late May 2019 for a major renovation and renewal, for which Mecanoo architects were selected to produce the design
