Investigating Money Laundering
The City of London Police are proud to host the Economic and Cyber Crime Academy. Our Academy is home to both serving officers and retired officers. Retired officers are mostly former detectives and senior in rank. Therefore our training delivery is kept up to date and relevant, with the mix of experience and understanding, especially for senior leader decision making.
We are piloting an open course aimed at the wider public sector. In partucular those with some prosecution, investigative or regulatory powers.
This 
five-day
 course will develop learners’ knowledge and skills in investigating money laundering, guiding investigators in identifying money laundering activities being carried out by individuals and organised crime groups.
Individuals responsible for the investigation of money laundering. Practitioners, supervisors (and managers may find useful).
Suitable for law enforcement, regulators and wider public bodies, providing they are concerned in the investigation of, or have a requirement/ desire to understand how money laundering takes place. Thereafter, understand how it should be investigated and or presented for prosecution.
Delegates from their parent organisations may well be seeking to gain an understanding of concepts and or aide the decision making process if then seeking to pass an investigaton to another agency.
Identifying what offences may have been committed and how best to reserve the evidence may be crucial.

Monday 10th of November 9am to Friday 15th of November. Lunchtime finish for travel.
Course located at UBCUK, flexible working venue in Leeds. Renovated period building, with loft room arranged for training.
Cost £1699 per person. We have 13 spaces available. The interest list will be worked on a first come first served basis.*
