Experience the exciting world of Pop Art Printmaking at the upcoming event, "Pop Art Printmaking" instructed by renowned artist David Bryant. This in-person event will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Art On 1st located at 300 1st Street Southwest, Roanoke, VA 24011.

During this engaging workshop, participants will learn the art of printmaking using the innovative Gel Plate process. By up-cycling vintage magazines from the 1930s to 2000s, students will have the opportunity to create their own unique Pop Art prints and cards. The workshop will cover the fundamentals of gel printing, as well as explore techniques such as Botanical Printing and Image Transfer Printing.

To ensure a seamless experience, all necessary materials and supplies will be provided. However, students are advised to bring wet wipes and wear clothing that can withstand the creative messiness of the workshop. Additionally, participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch and drink.

Not only will attendees have an unforgettable day of creativity, but 80% of the event's proceeds will also go towards supporting the Domestic Violence Program at Total Action for Progress. Join artist David Bryant at this exclusive event and discover the world of Pop Art Printmaking.
