Please note: this event will be held in person at Inkling. Create bold, two-colour posters using risograph printing to spark climate action in your community! Starting with an informal group discussion, you will explore your perspective on the climate crisis and learn from intersecting campaigns including the movement for a free Palestine, Black Lives Matter, Save The Bees and Peace Now. You will work together to draw out key themes and phrases before moving on to experimenting with drawing, collage and mark-making. Using these materials you will be guided to develop your own A3 poster that invites the viewer to think, learn more or take action. You will take home 30 prints to share and inspire change in your community! About the facilitator:Inkling is a queer, neuro-divergent Risograph print and publishing studio space operating with a commitment to principles of liberation, equality and accessibility. Inkling is run by Morvern Odling and Rachel Cannings, both artists have many years of experience in facilitating creative Risograph workshops, including various drawing and print techniques. We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

This is simply a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, and there were almost no people on the road. Only the ancient buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which made people feel awe.

It is said that it can be traced back to the famous William Conquest period. It was built to commemorate St. Diego. It took hundreds of years to build and has been around for nearly a thousand years. It is the oldest religious building in the entire Scottish region. It is also a must-see for tourists.

George Square

George Square is located in Glasgow city center and is very conveniently accessible by train or subway. On nice days, you can sunbathe and watch pigeons in the square. It is close to the famous shopping street, where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, shoes and socks. There are also many restaurants and eateries to choose from. 
George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square;during different festivals, such as Christmas, the square is built into a Christmas Market, becoming a dynamic and happy atmosphere.
