In the upcoming event "Printmaking for creatives - relief printing with a press for 8-16yrs," young print artists will have the opportunity to learn from dynamic artist Simone Tippett from Union St Printmakers. Simone is an inspiring print artist who will guide participants through various printmaking methods and techniques, creating a memorable and educational experience. This workshop is perfect for beginners, as no prior experience is required. By the end of each session, kids will not only have fallen in love with the art form of printmaking but also take home a variety of cards and prints that they have created. They will also gain the necessary skills to continue their printing and stamping journey at home. 

During the Relief Printing with a Press workshop, participants will be guided through the design, making, and printing of relief blocks both by hand and in a press. This workshop offers an exciting way to utilize simple recycled and craft materials to create various types of relief prints. It is a great opportunity for young creatives to explore their artistic abilities while having fun. All necessary materials will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring along a drink and snack. It is important to wear closed shoes and appropriate clothing for printmaking.
