The library@orchard is delighted to present the Pro Series: Crocheting upcycled & recycled yarns with Muta.wear workshop by Adel Ng. This exclusive programme is open to members of the National Library Board, Singapore. To register, please ensure you have your myLibrary username ready. Don't have a myLibrary username yet? No worries! You can easily create one on the National Library Board's website. 

In this engaging session, participants will learn simple crochet techniques and have the opportunity to craft using a variety of commercially available recycled yarns. They will also have the chance to combine these yarns with their own old clothes and other forms of post-consumer textile waste. The goal is to create functional homeware pieces or small art pieces like coasters, bowls, trivets, and baskets. To contribute to the project, participants are advised to bring clean, underutilized, or unwanted textile waste such as old bedlinen or T-shirts. We will cut yarn from these materials to incorporate into the project. 

Adel Ng, a renowned Designer/Maker with over two decades of experience, will be leading this workshop. Known for her considered and thoughtful design explorations, she has worked with various public and private sector organizations and has been featured in national media. 

The Pro Series, curated by library@orchard, offers a suite of talks that provide valuable insights into the craftsmanship of various design disciplines. Universal Studios Singapore is very small. You can check in all of it in 4 hours. There were very few people when we went there, and there was almost no queue, which was great. You can play with the mummy, which is scary and exciting. There are also many other amusement facilities. The Transformers are always broken and need repairs, so I didn&#39;t play them. Overall, it feels ok

Very fun, 4 laps just right, I didn&rsquo;t notice the screen of the helmet, I thought that everyone bought an electronic ticket there and didn&rsquo;t go to see it. As a result, my helmet was not scanned and I couldn&rsquo;t see my video photos. Then I went to the helmet to scan and I couldn&rsquo;t find the helmet I was wearing.

Sentosa Island is very good, the theme park has more projects, Jurassic Park, Xiaohuangren, etc. On the island, the ecology is mainly good, there are many birds, and I have seen seagulls, peacocks and lizards. The accommodation is more expensive. The hotel does not provide breakfast. Others are OK.
