Dundee has an exceptional collection of over 700 sculptures, murals, mosaics and other forms of public art. As part of the Public Art Dundee initiative, university museum curator Matthew Jarron will lead an informal walking tour round artworks in the Hilltown area, including some amazing murals, mosaics and unique street furniture. We'll also check out the Dundee Graffiti Jam taking place this weekend.
Please meet by the Victoria Road entrance to Dundee Central Library at the back of the Wellgate. Participants take part in these walks at their own risk. Please wear appropriate footwear. There may be uneven surfaces and occasional steps - please contact museum@dundee.ac.uk or 01382 384310 in advance if you have any access requirements.
