Quick Knit Club
Knit a beanie hat, hand warmers or a knitted pouch in one hour!
In this workshop, you will use a knitting machine to knit either a pair of hand warmers, a beanie hat or a knitted pouch for your laptop or tablet . Choose from a selection of yarns and punchcards to create an item unique to you! Yarn for your project is included in the ticket price, along with a cup of tea or coffee.
No experience with knitting machines needed, as Textile designer- maker Amy Chen help you make your design a reality.
Amy Chen is a textile designer-maker and educator. Her work encompasses textiles and technology in different ways, from her work in e-textiles (interactive textiles that incorporate electronics) to knitting with a hacked vintage knitting machine.
Drop ins are welcome but book online to guarentee your place.
