We live in a world which is saturated and overwhelmed by information and moving images. How do we make sense of anything? How do we construct narratives in the wake of such overwhelming info? How do we know which conspiracies are theories and which conspiracies are fact?
In two years of Normal Cinema Club, we have put together the pieces and noticed a trend. Featuring work from friends of the club, old and new, this will be a night about pulling on threads and falling down rabbitholes. Featuring films about internet cultures, online brain rot, being doompilled but also being straight-up curious about the world around us, Normal Cinema Club is proud to present an evening of short films which respond to our current state of overstimulation.

This screening will take place in the Green Room at the Black Box. Doors will open at 6.30pm, with the first films beginning shortly after 7pm. The films will be presented in two blocks, with an intermission for comfort, refreshment and fervent debate. This is a strictly 18+ event.

We were led by a big-bellied man, who took the middle staircase to the second floor. He asked us to introduce ourselves at the circular handrail in the middle. We were from all over the country, and most of us were foreigners. Then he led us to the parliament hall, which is where the parliamentarians usually hold meetings. There was a microphone at each seat. He then began to talk about the origin and function of this building, and spoke with great vigor. Everyone could sit anywhere, even the speaker&#39;s seat. After the introduction, he led us to visit other halls. The huge banquet hall was covered with thick and beautiful red carpet. I can&#39;t remember which hall was covered with blue carpet.

The castle is situated in between a mountain and sea. Gardens in the surrounding are also stunning. Moreover, if you like trekking, this is an ideal location.

The Peace Bridge is a beautiful landscape in Belfast. It represents a very sad history and also represents the hope of the people of Northern Ireland. The walls are covered with various graffiti works, most of which are paintings expressing peace in Northern Ireland. Some of the graffiti works are very moving and worth appreciating.
