Lamma Island, the third largest outlying island in Hong Kong, is famous for its fishing village style and mountain and sea scenery. It takes 30 minutes by ferry from Central to Yung Shue Wan or Sok Kwu Wan. The two bays have their own characteristics: Yung Shue Wan is full of Western-style teahouses and handicraft shops, and painted wooden houses are intertwined with exotic atmosphere; Sok Kwu Wan is famous for its century-old Tin Hau Temple and open-air seafood restaurant. Cantonese seafood such as fried crab with chili and steamed shrimp with garlic are mouth-watering. Hiking the Family Trail is a must-try. The winding mountain trail connects Hung Shing Yeh Bay Beach and Shanditang Viewing Platform. Along the way, you can overlook the blue sea and coconut groves, and occasionally encounter wild fiddler crabs and mudskippers. Cultural enthusiasts can visit the Fishermen&#39;s Cultural Village, experience ancient fishing boats and hookless fishing, and feel the history of the fishing village. The island&#39;s transportation is only by ferry and bicycle, which is environmentally friendly and comfortable. At sunset, take a break at the Yung Shue Wan seaside cafe, or go to the Sok Kwu Wan night market to taste mango glutinous rice cakes, both are unforgettable experiences. Chow Yun-fat&#39;s hometown and TVB drama filming location add a literary atmosphere. Lamma Island is a healing choice to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

We have enjoyed Disneyland with my family and senior citizen parents. We also availed the meals (lunch+dinner+snack) and it is much cheaper than buying food inside the park. Thank you trip.com for the less-hassle disneyland experience.

Although the aquarium&#39;s hours are long, the service is truly superior to Disneyland. Asking for directions was met with a smile and detailed answers. However, I suggest the mountaintop rides could use an extra staff member during weekends when it&#39;s crowded. One staff member has to operate the rides and check each visitor&#39;s seatbelt, which makes for incredibly long waits. You can see dolphins up close, so overall, the aquarium is definitely worth a visit with your kids.
