Tanabata, also known as Star Festival, is one of Japan's traditional festivals, celebrated around July 7 each year with events held across the country. One of the events, Reiwa Osaka Galaxy Legend 2025, is now in its 15th year and is becoming a new summer tradition in Osaka. 
On July 7, the Okawa River, which flows through the center of Osaka, will transform into the Milky Way and become the stage for lovers to reunite. Today, the Okawa River winds through an area of ​​office buildings and restaurants, but in the past, when there were no street lights around, the river used to reflect the starry night sky and was called "Earth's Milky Way." Now, using the latest technology, Earth's Milky Way will miraculously come back to life! 
Around 7 p.m. on the 7th, the Okawa River from Tenmanbashi to Tenjinbashi will be filled with blue lights. These blue LED lights are called Inori-boshi® ("Prayer Stars") and are small spheres with a diameter of 8.5 cm.

Good points

- It was fun because Pokemon appeared all over the town. I wanted to see all the panels, so I walked quite a distance for the first time in a while.

- The prize at the end was good. The acrylic charms were especially big and cool. If your favorite Pokemon is among the prizes, you should participate.

- Bad points

- The map is hard to see. I didn&#39;t understand the meaning of the dummy panels at first. I thought that many of the panels were in tricky locations for an event mainly aimed at children.

- It&#39;s difficult to go around without taking a break. It says 1-2 hours, but it&#39;s better to look around for more than 3 hours. (Especially if you go to points that are not related to the rally points) It&#39;s Umeda, so if you miss the timing, it&#39;s hard to find a place to rest, especially on holidays.

The museum inside Osaka Castle offers a good overview of the castle&rsquo;s history with some interesting displays and artifacts. The interior has been modernized with elevators and air conditioning, which makes for a comfortable visit, though it does contrast sharply with the traditional exterior. The view from the top is a highlight.

We started lining up at Universal Studios at 7:00 AM, going through security, and then checking tickets inside, which also required lining up. The park opened at 8:30 AM. It was incredibly hot in July. The kids had a blast. We lost all three of our children, and none of them had a phone number to contact us. We asked staff for help, and Ms. Watanabe at Lost and Found registered the children&#39;s clothing and ages. When we arrived at the park&#39;s service center, we happened to run into three children who were also looking for help from staff looking for their mother. The children&#39;s English was broken, but the Japanese staff used translation software and were able to get through to us. It took over an hour to find the children. It was an unforgettable experience! The kids had a blast, too.
