The Reykjavik International Film Festival is accredited by the Canadian Screen Awards; it is Iceland's major annual film festival, with the main purpose of offering a wide range of groundbreaking independent films. A special New Horizons category is created to highlight the work of young and emerging filmmakers. 
The Reykjavik International Film Festival will be held for its 22nd time from September 25 to October 5, 2024. 
The Reykjavik International Film Festival screens approximately 200 films (features and shorts) from more than 40 countries each year. The festival focuses on the experience and strives to make the films accessible to the most film lovers during the festival. The organizers make the viewing more interesting by designing special events such as screenings in unconventional places such as swimming pools, elderly homes, group workshops, etc. The film festival believes that films are touching, educational and inspiring. In the "Small Town Tour" project, the organizers will screen influential films in libraries, nursing homes, prisons and other places to allow the films to reach more audiences and play their connotations.

I suggest you don&#39;t take this trip. It takes about two and a half hours to take a boat back and forth. If you feel dizzy, you must take medicine. The scenery is OK, but there are no small or big fish. There are only small biscuits, coffee and tea. So the cost performance is too low, because the price is not cheap.

Perlan is a beautiful musuem, perfect for a leisure day in Reykjavik. If you only visit one attraction in reykjavik, it has to be perlan. (you can skip aurora reykjavik and lava show) We took the bus 18 to &lsquo;perlan&rsquo; bus stop where we walked through a little garden. there was a lot of people on a rainy tuesday afternoon. we easily spent about 3 hours there: watch shows about volcano and aurora, enter ice cave &amp; learn about iceland&rsquo;s geology. Apparently the restaurant rotates around in the dome, but we didn&rsquo;t have time to try.

Lake Thorning is an important tourist attraction in the capital of Iceland and is worth visiting. The lake is close to the City Hall, so you can visit the City Hall as well. There are many colorful houses by the lake. There are swans, ducks and birds in the lake, which attracts many tourists, especially children. You can interact and play with the seabirds and feed them, which is fun. There are also unique European-style buildings with pointed roofs and unique bridges by the lake. There is also an interesting statue standing here. His upper body is a huge square-shaped stone, and his lower body is a man carrying a briefcase 💼, which can be interpreted as modern urban office workers working hard for life and work... It&rsquo;s nice to stroll by the lake with a cool breeze and enjoy the vast lake view!
