Colwyn Trevarthen was a distinguished scholar, researcher and life-long innovator with a passionate interest in human musicality. Colwyn’s pioneering work in infancy research and childhood development has had a profound and lasting global impact, influencing multiple disciplines. This international, interdisciplinary memorial conference will bring together Colwyn's friends, family and colleagues in a celebration of his life and work, including a book launch of: Delafied-Butt, J. & Reddy, V. (Eds). (2025). Intersubjective Minds: Rhythm, Sympathy, and Human Being. Oxford University Press. 'Trevarthen laid the foundations for a more compassionate and understanding approach to early childhood development, one that recognizes the rights, potential and dignity of every child. He will be remembered fondly by all those who had the privilege of sharing time with him, in conversations, at symposia, perhaps sharing a meal or a walk with a group of students and family members, or even a paddle in the sea. Alongside his prolific output of print and e-publications are his recorded lectures and slide presentations posted online that will bring his work to new audiences, far into the future.' Bristo Square is relatively wide, with a gravel road that looks very old, crowded with tourists, and pigeons flying. The overall atmosphere is nice and relaxed, and the surrounding buildings are also great.

This Reid Hall Musical Instrument Museum ranks high on Ctrip&#39;s museums list. I came here specially to check in. It really lives up to its reputation. Many ancient musical instruments have only been seen in movies or posters. Many of them have traces of use and were donated to the museum by the public. They are very collectible. It was a very interesting day~

Many said it&#39;s overrated, but I think it&#39;s one of the iconic place to visit, especially if you visit at the right time (when it&#39;s not as busy). Fantastic view from different spots of the castle and learn about some history. Indeed it&#39;s military heavy and some controversial military &quot;honours&quot; to those invasion wars. Don&#39;t expect a huge space to visit though.

Edinburgh Old City, England, is surrounded by medieval stone buildings and beautiful scenery. Edinburgh is not only a financial town, but also a palace of art. Walking on the street, you can see entertainers&#39; happy performances everywhere. This is the origin of traditional Scottish dress skirts, the blend of art and life makes people linger, it is worth a visit.

Very interesting place to visit to learn about the history of the royal family and see some great docorations. Self_guided audio tour was nicely put together and free with the entrance. I love the backdrop of Arthur&#39;s seat and the ruin of the chapel.

Carlton Hill is an iconic Edinburgh attraction known for its neoclassical complex, 360-degree city views and rich cultural activities. The design inspiration is based on the Parthenon in Athens. The Greek-style columns on the top of the mountain are magnificent, like the skeleton of a temple solidified by time, and they quietly guard Edinburgh. &zwnj;
