In the Sculpt It! Found Art and Sculpture course, students will explore the creative world of sculpture by transforming everyday objects into unique works of art. Through hands-on activities like building mixed-media sculptures and learning advanced techniques, participants will develop their artistic skills and gain confidence in using found materials. It's the perfect course for sparking creativity and inspiring young artists!

Summer Learning Clubs
 for an engaging, hands-on, student-driven learning experience! Designed around a 
Project-Based Learning (PBL) model

. Each two-day session explores a unique topic through a blend of 
inquiry, design, research, writing, and the arts

, applying critical thinking and creativity to real-world problems. Throughout the process, they gather information, synthesize ideas, and develop meaningful connections between subjects. With a focus on

Sessions are grouped by grade levels: Grades 1 & 2, Grades 3 - 5, and Grades 6 - 8, with the grade level determined by the grade the student is entering in fall 2025.
Because we are able to admit a limited number of students, you will be charged a deposit of $25 plus credit card processing fees upon registration. Your deposit will be refunded less credit card processing fees upon attendance at both days or class or notification of inability to attend sent to summerlearningclubs@westportlibrary.org or 203.291.4810 by
