WHEN ART MEETS JOY!! Inside Mitchell Cheesman's Buderim studio is an intriguing space in the void underneath a quintessential Queenslander, featuring uneven bare earth, mounds of paint-encrusted rags, cardboard palettes dotted with generous blobs of colourful paints and a bookcase crammed with art books. This is where Mitchell draws his inspiration from and where he is painting his stunning new collection, captured in his distinctive impasto style and expression, for his eagerly awaited sixth solo exhibition, Seasons Stain The Vein.
