Join the event at Rocket Padel's state-of-the-art indoor club in Bristol, where you can test your backhand skills in this thrilling sport that's causing a splash in the UK. This event provides a fantastic opportunity to connect with the local business community in a fun and relaxed environment. No prior experience is required, as people of all sporting abilities are encouraged to attend. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed by the organizers and Rocket Padel in the bar area, offering a chance to network with fellow chamber members. A coach from Rocket Padel will provide a brief introduction to the sport and its rules before participants engage in a round-robin style tournament to try out Padel for themselves. The rest of the evening is open for continued conversations, with a bar available for refreshments. It is recommended to wear gym clothes and clean trainers. Padel, originating in Acapulco in 1969, offers a smaller court surrounded by walls, leading to the use of wooden paddles instead of conventional tennis rackets. Rocket Padel in Bristol is the first Padel club in the UK, boasting 14 courts measuring 10x20 meters, encased in glass walls and metal mesh. The scoring system in Padel is identical to tennis.
