What this workshop is about:
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN ADULTS ONLY EVENT - I am available on a 121 basis for sewing session with young people under the age of 18.
You are booking a single two hour session from 2pm-4pm which I will be hosting at THE HALL ON THE HILL, St. Catherine's Hill, Christchurch.

Would you like some help from a qualified textiles teacher and experience seamstress?
Who is this class for:
These sessions are open to all whether your skills are none existent or advanced. What you choose to make is your choice, see below for guidance.
Please note I am a qualified textiles teacher and experienced seamstress and pattern cutter. I will be there to help you on your sewing journey but this dressmaking session is not a structured workshop, it is an open session where you can work on your own project with my support.
What you will learn:
The skills you will learn will depend upon the product you choose to make but may include:
Developing your sewing machine skills
How to create an open seam, hem and neaten
How to complete fastening such as zips and button& buttonholes
How to hand stitch
how to create decorative features
How to use and read and adapt a commercial pattern
Materials & Equipment:
You will need to bring a project with you. If you are a complete beginner you will need to select a simple or easy beginners pattern and choose a woven fabric to work with. I am happy to answer any queries or questions you may have to help you select a suitable project. Please just email me on nellybeadesigns@gmail.com.
I can loan you a sewing machine for the session but these need to be BOOKED IN ADVANCE by messaging me.
Equipment is available for you to use on the day.

I think this place is quite fun. It&#39;s right next to the airport parking lot. I stopped by before returning my car to Christchurch Airport and enjoyed free parking. The tickets I bought on Ctrip were very convenient to show directly. The entire tour lasted about two hours. I rode a polar car, experienced an Antarctic storm, watched a 4D movie, and saw penguins and sled dogs.

Christchurch Botanical Garden is a fascinating place! Entering the garden, it seems to be in a green fairy tale world. In the rose garden, more than 250 roses bloom, colorful and aromatic. Walking on the trail, you can see the Avon River flowing quietly, and there are light boats rowing across the river from time to time. There are also various theme gardens in the park, such as vanilla garden and Shiqi garden, each with a unique scenery. This is not only a paradise for plants, but also a good place to relax and let people linger.

Christchurch, the largest city on New Zealand&#39;s South Island, nestled between mountains and the sea, offers panoramic views of the city and coastline from the cable car. We followed the directions a friend had sent us and arrived near the summit. A short climb up brought us to the cable car station. There&#39;s an observation deck and a cafe on the second floor. This way, we only had to buy a one-way ticket down the mountain, which was significantly cheaper. A Chinese staff member at the ticket office told us about a &quot;Time Tunnel&quot; car showcasing the history of Canterbury, New Zealand. If you take the No. 8 bus to the base of the mountain, you can take the cable car up and then back down&mdash;perhaps a classic way to enjoy the experience.

It can be said to be the largest and best park in Christchurch. Located in the city center, it is a great place for friends of all ages. You can spend the weekend afternoons with your family, using the sky as your room and the ground as your bed... quietly contemplating... or just being idle for the afternoon... It is also very popular on weekends or holidays!
