Shadow Mountain High School's Class of 1995 is gathering to celebrate 30 years since we tossed our caps in the air. Let’s turn back time and make this milestone a legendary weekend to remember!
Event Highlights
Friday, October 3, 2025
High School Tour & Friday Night Lights:
 Kick off the weekend with a nostalgic tour of Shadow Mountain High School, where it all began. Then stick around to cheer on the Matadors under the stadium lights at the home football game. There will be a hapy hour immediatelt after the tour and before the game at Zipps (32nd St. and Shea). Let’s show the current students how Matador pride is done!
Saturday, October 4, 2025
Morning Hike with Sena:
 Start the day, @ 7am, with a scenic hike led by our very own adventurous alum, Sena. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy Arizona’s beauty while catching up with classmates.
Dinner & Open Bar at Aunt Chilada’s (6 PM–10 PM):
 The main event! Join us for a night of delicious food, flowing drinks, music, and laughter as we celebrate three decades of memories. The iconic Aunt Chilada’s will set the perfect stage for stories, dancing, and reconnecting with friends who knew us when we still had 90s hair.

Farewell Brunch:
 Wrap up the weekend with a relaxing brunch at OHSO (Tatum and Shea). Enjoy one last opportunity to share laughs and promises to stay in touch before we head back to the realities of 2025.

This is a really big park. I took the canal path from the south end to the north end and stopped at Hole in the Rock, which took about an hour. A great place to relax, exercise and have a picnic. I loved the change between the green areas around the lake and the dry areas filled with cacti. And was amazed by the bird life around. It does get very hot so wear sunscreen and bring plenty of water.

The trees are beautiful and unusual. The cactus is very big and taller than many people. You must come and visit. It is beautiful and has a desert-style atmosphere.

Phoenix Zoo is located in Tempe Arizona and it is by far one of the best zoos I have been to. There are many attractions to the zoo like the wildlife. Phoenix Zoo has places like sea life walk where you can go see the sea life. The have a trail called Desert trail where you can see all the desert animals. they also have an area where you can see all the flowers in Arizona. they have a kid&#39;s land for just the kids they have a water park for the kids the animals that you see are mainly ones that you would see in a safari because it is a desert. Arizona You Don&#39;t See Much of like polar bears. it&#39;s a great little Zoo it&#39;s not too big not too little and I highly suggest if you&#39;re going to go to the Phoenix Zoo do not go in the summer I would plan to come in the winter where is more nice not so hot and you&#39;ll see a lot more animals than if you were to come in the summer it is 120&deg; here in Arizona during the summer and in the winter it gets up to about 70&deg; during the day so be a perfect time to come in the Winter.

You can see the sunrise and sunset of Phoenix here
I went there twice this year
I arrived at around 8am in March to see the blue sky and wild flowers
I arrived at around 5am in June to see many tourists waiting for the sunrise
This place is right next to the zoo and the Desert Botanical Garden
Free attractions
Travel route
Bring breakfast and watch the sunrise and have breakfast at the Cave in the Stone
Then go to the Desert Botanical Garden at around 8am to see all kinds of desert plants and animals
At noon, have a good meal at the restaurant in the botanical garden
If you like, go to the zoo in the afternoon (but I don&#39;t like it)
