Suspicion falls on the forger Patrick Brady, named by Smith in connection with the sinking of the luxury yacht, The Pathfinder, and subsequent attempts to collect the insurance. I was here 4 years ago. The displays have changed. It is a must see. The displays are mesmerizing. The photos are some of the best crime photos I have ever seen. The quality of the photos and detail given the time period is outstanding. The museum has an impressive and completely unique archive. I loved the low key commentary and it depicts horrific times for police and criminals alike. The death masks are interesting too. Horrible weaponry to see. A good, but mythical display. The re-enactments of court cases that you can dress up and take part in are very special and give everyone an insight into a horrific world. I recommend this to everyone who visits. The limited opening hours are a problem though. You need a day or two in between. I would put this up with Fremantle Prison in WA and Port Arthur in Tasmania as one of the prime destinations for crime.

We visited here on our first day in Sydney. The museum looks small but has a lot of history. We loved the Catalan and Aboriginal exhibitions on the first floor of the museum, which used a variety of media (audio, interactive displays, paintings, artifacts) to restore history. The building itself is worth taking photos. The entrance is a bit difficult to find, in an alley, so you have to pay attention to the roadside signs. It takes about 2 hours to visit all areas. All in all, I highly recommend visiting this museum in Sydney, and it&#39;s free!

Traveling to Australia, this stop came to Sydney, and I checked in at Sydney&#39;s Rocks area. I passed by this museum, which is located opposite the Sydney Opera House. It was founded in May 1989 and officially opened to the public in 1991. It collects and exhibits contemporary art works from Australia, the Asia-Pacific region and all over the world. The museum was originally owned by the University of Sydney. Since 2001, it has been mainly funded by the New South Wales Government and the Australian Parliament. The museum has 3 floors and more than 4,000 collections, of which 3,060 works were donated by artist John Power, most of which are artworks after 1960. The museum is open from 10 am to 5 pm every day, extended to 9 pm on Wednesdays, and closed on Christmas Day. There is no fee to visit.
