Join the Shroud Making workshop, a unique and profound opportunity to explore themes of death, loss, and love through art. This workshop, led by experienced artist-facilitators, takes place in the serene setting of the Shoalhaven Regional Gallery in Nowra. Through the use of breath, body, cloth, stitching, and meaningful conversations, participants will delve into the core aspects of the human experience.

The workshop will be held inside the exhibition, Death Love Art, creating an immersive and contemplative environment. All necessary materials and equipment, including a variety of cloth pieces, will be provided. If you wish to create a full-size shroud, please bring along a 100% cotton or linen bed sheet.

You will have the opportunity to take home everything you create during the workshop. Tea and coffee will be available for refreshment, so remember to bring your own lunch and a refillable drink bottle to sustain you throughout the day.

The facilitators for this workshop are Natalie McDonagh and Annette Tesoriero. Natalie's practice combines visual and performing arts, installation, psychology, and meditation. Annette is a contemporary performance maker and death literacy consultant who has led thought-provoking events on the topic of death and grief.
