The 21st Annual celebration of spoken word and community outreach, known as the Southern Fried Poetry Slam Volunteer Registration, is a prestigious event taking place in Pompano Beach at the Bailey Contemporary Arts venue. This event is one of the largest Spoken Word and Performance Poetry tournaments globally and attracts some of the most exceptional writers, orators, and artists. Volunteers are welcome to participate, regardless of their experience level, as there is no slam, poetry, or other requirements to get involved. Over 200 poets from around the world will compete for cash prizes and bragging rights to the South.
