Join us for an evening of spooky games and fun! We've recruited some of our amazing volunteer Game Masters from TTRPG Tuesday to run some awesome Spooky Role-Playing Game One-Shots!
To participate in this event, review the options of the different games below and sign up for a seat at the table that interests you the most! We'll also be giving away some treats for those who come in costume, so bring a pillow case to collect your candy, and get ready for an evening of tricks, treats and terrifying TTRPGs!Admission is $10 each (+tax and Eventbrite fees), granting everyone access to both the event, and our collection of 600+ board games before and after the event (provided there is space)! Please note, these Halloween Spooky TTRPG games may not be suitable for all ages due to some mature themes in these horror settings. We’ve used a rough estimate on what the session would be rated if it were a movie. Be sure to check the description of the game you're signing up for to make sure it's right for you, and if you’re not sure - reach out to kat@boardroomgames.ca for more details. Please note that players under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a chaperone playing at the table.

Join Nic for D&D 5e (slight mix of 2014/2024 Rules)! Game starts at 6pm. Rated PG13
Adventure Hook from the GM:
“Every town has *that* house. The long abandoned boarded up decaying manor on the outskirts of town. Rumours fly about of ghosts, ghouls and monsters that are getting restless… but they can't be true? Just something to scare young children right? A Halloween night, a full moon, a possibly haunted house and a bunch of teenagers entering on a schoolyard dare. What could go wrong?
Level 4 Characters can be made ahead of time, created together at the beginning of the session, or pre-generated character will be available.

Join Dakota for Monster of the Week! Game starts at 7:15pm. Rated 18+ (Not teen friendly)
Adventure Hook from the GM:
“The sleepy locale known as Farfromit Villa has hired a reputable mystery busting team to discover why their workers at the amazing world renowned spa for the rich and powerful have gone missing. Find the reason for the trouble and get to the bottom of this mystery in a horror based one-shot!"
Characters will be created together at the beginning of the session.

Join Ben for Daggerheart! Game starts at 6pm. Rated PG14 (Teens welcome)
Adventure Hook from the GM:
“The city of Ashenfell has long stood in ruin, abandoned after a nameless calamity. Now a creeping blight spreads from its broken walls, twisting beasts into corrupted horrors and rousing the dead from uneasy rest. To end the curse before it consumes the land, you must brave the haunted streets and uncover the truth of its fall."
Level 3 Characters can be made ahead of time, created together at the beginning of the session, or pre-generated characters will be available.

Join Zach G. for The Forest Hymn & Picnic! Game starts at 6pm. Rated PG13 (All Ages welcome)
Adventure Hook from the GM:
“After days on a prison train, you've finally had a stroke of luck. When the guard fell asleep you swiped his key and leapt off to freedom! Unfortunately, your luck has immediately run out as you stumbled directly into a dark forest where all sorts of odd and frightening creatures lurk in the shadows. Here in the Forest Hymn, it's much simpler to get lost than find your way home... This is a frightful adventure suitable for all ages.”Pre-generated characters will be provided for this Over the Garden Wall style journey into the unknown.

“Your party has been commissioned to purify the cursed grounds of an abandoned castle rumoured to be full of rare artifacts. Join Zack for D&D 5E (2014 Rules)! Game starts at 6pm. Rated R (due to cursing, violence, gore, and horror elements - Mature teens welcome)
Adventure Hook from the GM:
“The party has been called to escort a negotiator and ransom payment to a vampire who has kidnapped the daughter of a minor noble. There is a rumor that this vampire is involved with the occult who is looking to open the barriers between the plains of dread to the rest of the world, unleashing terrible horrors among the player's world. Whether the captive is a part of the rumor or just another way to get rich quick? The players will soon find out.”
Level 5 Characters using the 2014 Rules can be made ahead of time, created together before the session if you arrive early, or pre-generated characters will be available.

Seating is limited so please let us know if you can no longer make it! If you have to cancel for any reason, please email events@boardroomgames. ca.
Tickets cancelled more than 48 hours in advance of the event are eligible for a full refund on ticket price. Tickets cancelled less than 48 hours are eligible for 50% refund. There will be no refunds for no shows.

Gorgeous! We busted around mid October and the leaves were begging to change. Everything was so well kept and picture perfect. They had flowers I&rsquo;d never seen before. They were so pretty!! Enjoyed walking around here for a while!

Peggy's Cove

Peggy&#39;s Cove is a must-see attraction when visiting Halifax. The lighthouse is on a small island, facing the sea, with beautiful scenery. There are souvenirs and local specialty products on the tower, and it is meaningful to buy some as souvenirs. There are restaurants around, but they are crowded, so we didn&#39;t go. There are also special lobsters, freshly caught from the sea, cooked for you in time, it is very necessary to try them.
