Interested in finding out more about making theatre about the climate crisis? Our monthly sessions explore the different aspects of creativity and the climate crisis, everything from writing characters to getting funding. Our workshops are suitable for people working in theatre and the creative arts, as well as people who enjoy creativity as a hobby, students, climate activists, and anyone else who is interested in exploring climate change through theatre. Come along to the Glitch bar in Waterloo to find out more! What to expect: 7pm to 8pm - The first half of the session is a workshop led by an artist, facilitator or creative and explores a specific aspect about staging the climate crisis. 8pm to 9pm - The second half of the session is a relaxed networking and/or chatting session in the Glitch bar upstairs. We've got a really exciting selection of sessions coming up visting facilitators: Wednesday 4th September 2024 - Theatre sustainability advisor Jess Taylor will be running a workshop exploring how to put passion about climate change into practice in the arts. We will look at how to use your skills and connections to forefront climate activism in all areas of your work, and define your specific focus so that you feel empowered to build buy-in and influence engagement. Suitable for anyone interested in arts sustainability. Wednesday 2nd October 2024 - Jen Quinn will be running a workshop exploring eco-emotions and resilience as theatre makers. You can read more about Jen’s work here: www.jenquinn.work Wednesday 6th November 2024 - Dan de la Motte will be running a workshop exploring Climate Justice within arts settings. This workshops are interactive, playful and provocative and are informed by dramaturg Zoe Svendsen's concept(s) around 'High Carbon Culture’. You can follow Dan @Dandelamotte Feedback from previous workshops  The evening was inclusive and created an environment that felt safe but challenging   A really nourishing, supportive, playful and welcoming atmosphere   The workshop was run really well  Access We have reserved the basement space at The Glitch for this event. It doesn't have step-free access due to being a basement space with no lift facilities. The space is down a flight of 15 stairs with a solid handrail. If this will be a problem for you, let us know and we will move the event to the ground floor cafe/bar space which has step-free access. If you have any other access needs please let us know. We are a neurodiverse theatre company and it is very important to us that people feel supported to come along. Suggestion donations We ask for donations for the workshops to cover the expenses of workshop leaders and to support our work as a not-for-profit theatre company. We keep the suggested donations low in order to ensure that as many people as possible can attend. We also have a limited number of free tickets available. On May 21, I took the elderly to visit the British Museum, and the tour guide service was warm and professional. If you visit the museum without a tour guide, it may be completed in half an hour. The main reason is that the historical geography has not been learned well. Under the tour guide&#39;s explanation, the three hours feel very fast. This is the second time I have decided to come to the British Museum for the tour guide service of Trip.com . I still feel that the meaning is still not enough. 🏰 Westminster Abbey, it&#39;s really shocking! 📍 It&#39;s located in central London, close to the Parliament Building and Big Ben. The church is a prominent representation of British Gothic architecture, towering spires, exquisite carvings and beautifully painted glass windows, each detail shows an unparalleled artistic charm. Walking into the church, as if through time and space, is the holy place of the crowning of the British royal family, witnessing countless important moments in history. It is also a resting place for many celebrities, and great figures such as Newton, Darwin, Dickens have slept here, making people respect their contributions. Walking around, you can feel the solemnity of religion and the deep historical and cultural heritage. The church&#39;s Henry VII chapel is exquisite, with a fan-shaped arched roof and densely carved decorations, like a fairy tale fairyland. Whether it is an architecture lover or a historical and cultural fan, Westminster Abbey is definitely worth a visit. I believe you will be deeply impressed by its charm like me. 💕 highly recommend it to everyone! 💕

The Queen&#39;s favorite palace is very luxurious, but it is not allowed to take pictures. It can only be taken outside. When entering, a photo was taken and was stopped by the staff. Knowing the life of the royal family, Windsor Castle is generally very quiet.
