This is a special StorySlam Oakland, hosted by our friends Beau and Tom at Pretty Good Stories (
prettygoodstories.org
). It’s a mash-up of 2 storytelling formats: the open-mic Storyslam Oakland one we know and love intertwined with 3 longer-form stories.There will be 5 open mic spots, randomly picked. And there will be stories from Beau, Tom and special guests. There will be prizes. Don Doblados will be playing electric guitar. Also, beer and delicious food. Come out. Put your name in the hat to tell a story if you’re inspired. The theme is:
