Don't miss the exciting Shaun Murphy Exhibition & Re-Opening fundraiser night on March 29th, 2024, at Stratford Sports Club in Stratford-upon-Avon. Join us as we officially reopen the snooker room after it was devastated by flooding from the River Avon in January 2024. World Champion and Triple Crown winner Shaun Murphy will be there to showcase his champion talent on the green baize. This event is especially important for our small community amateur sports club with a CASC rating and around 120 members, most of whom are elderly. We need to get the snooker room back up and running for the health and mental well-being of our members and the community. Unfortunately, we did not have flood insurance in place due to our location on a flood plain. The cost to clean up, renovate, and replace the damaged equipment is approximately £15,000, so any donations to help the club would be greatly appreciated. Tickets for the event are £20.00 for the entire night, and seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. This promises to be a memorable evening of snooker with Shaun Murphy, a World, UK, and Masters champion, as well as a BBC snooker pundit. Come and support our club while enjoying a great night of entertainment.

Vibrant and friendly town with rich history, lovely museums and market. Visited the iconic half-timbered house and had a walk around town. Lots of different shops to keep me busy for a day. It could get very overcrowded though so make sure to arrive early.

About 1.5 kilometers away from Shakespeare&#39;s former residence, you can see this typical British farmhouse, which is the former residence of Shakespeare&#39;s wife Anne Hathaway before her marriage. It has been preserved as much as possible, making people feel as if they have traveled back to the past and slowly experienced it.
