Welcome to the TU Dublin Conservatoire Summer School for Young Pianists!Join us at TU Dublin, East Quad for our Summer School for Young Pianists, now in its 4th year!! Our exciting four-day programme, designed to bring pianists aged 12-18 together in a stimulating and friendly environment. Participants will take part in a series of performance workshops and other relevant musical activities designed to enhance their confidence in, and enjoyment of, playing the piano. When: Tuesday 17th June - Friday 20th June 2025, 10:00 hrs - 14:00 hrs each dayWhere: TU Dublin Conservatoire, East Quad, Grangegorman Lower, Dublin 7 D07XFF2Performance Workshop: working in groups, the students will be encouraged to play and teachers will provide feedback and facilitate discussion among the group. Elements of technique, style, presentation and communication in performance will be addressed in a relaxed environment with an emphasis on developing critical listening skills.
Core Skills: each day there will be a session which takes a particular aspect of piano playing and offers practical insights. Topics include Reading Skills, Accompaniment and Keyboard Harmony. Specialist Talks: Topics will range from Practice Skills, Preparing for Performance, and a general overview on music at 3rd-level. Introduction to The Organ: This is a session to introduce participants to the organ – everyone will have a chance to explore the sounds and touch and experience playing the so-called King of Instruments.These sessions will be interactive. Concert: The summer school comes to a close with participants performing a public concert in our Concert Hall. Not to mention the chance to use our beautiful Steinway! The most worthwhile attraction in Dublin, there are three worthwhile attractions: the first is the Book of Kells, which is the national treasure of Ireland, but you must listen to the audio guide, otherwise you will not understand the preciousness of this scripture; the second is the library gallery, which is the filming location of the Harry Potter movie, and it is also very quaint and unique; the third is the oldest harp in Ireland. In general, the tour is very exciting, the small disadvantage is that the price of Ctrip is slightly more expensive than the local ticket price, and the cost performance is not very high.

Dublin Castle has a long royal history and the attractions are worth visiting. The ticket price is only 8 euros (6 euros for those over 60 years old). However, the ticket price on Ctrip for those over 60 years old is 160 yuan, which is 3 times the price on site. It is too expensive!!! It has affected my high trust and good impression of Ctrip!!!

Ireland belongs to the temperate marine climate zone, so the vegetation coverage rate is very high. This green color, from south to north, from east to west, covers the island country, clear and transparent like emerald. The green of Ireland is fascinating, but the weather in Ireland is very depressing. When I came here, everyone said a joke that it rains 300 days out of 365 days in Ireland. One of my colleagues once talked about the weather in Ireland with a taxi driver. The driver said that God gave Ireland such a beautiful coat, and if he gave it good weather, it would be envied by the world.
