Join this leisurely ramble with a Birmingham Ramblers group leader and enjoy social walking with our friendly members. Walk leader: Celia Howell-jones A walk in the Becketts Farm area, including admiring the sunflowers. Meeting arrangements: This walk offers the option of joining for 6-mile route using public transport or 4.5 mile circular using a car. BY BUS: Meet the walk leader at Bus Stop KJ for Diamond bus 150 at 10.00 am (bus departs 10.12) opposite All Saints Medical centre on Vicarage Road, Kings Heath, B1 7RA. We will travel to The Packhorse Inn, Wythall. Day ticket £5.50, Centro bus pass, Free. Travel From City Centre to Kings Heath catch Buse50 or 35 at opposite Moor Street Station. Outer circle No. 11 stops at All Saints Medical centre, Kings Heath. Return by bus is from The Maypole. Buses 150, 50, 49. BY CAR. Meet at the Packhorse Inn car park, Wythall, B47 5HA at 10.25 am. The walk will start from the Packhorse at 10.30am. From the Packhorse Inn, the route goes south through snicketts and fields to Wythall Country Park which is a private park held in trust for the community. After a circuit here we go west to Malt House Farm, crossing fields to join the North Worcestershire path temporarily. The route then circuits Kings Norton golf club through woodlands and emerges near St Mary’s decommissioned church. Following the lane, we enter Becketts Farm and make our way to the Sunflower display. It will be busy but we will have our snack, coffee and toilet break here. Having admired the display, we exit Becketts and return via lanes and fields to the Packhorse Inn. For those on the bus, we’ll continue on footpaths north, to the Alcester Road and on the Maypole Roundabout to catch our buses home. Terrain: Field paths, woodland paths, lanes and tracks with some muddy patches. About 6 stiles. Becketts started planting fields of Sunflowers and wild flowers in 2021. They invite donations and raise funds for a chosen charity. Hopefully, the flowers will be dazzling us at the end of July. Children love it, it&#39;s a must for families with kids! I saw British schools also organize students to play there. Overall, it&#39;s more worthwhile than the Whisky Museum and the Peter Rabbit Museum. The first two are actually worth going to the shopping malls to buy something, and the doors of the shopping malls are open to passers-by.

We made a dedicated trip and had a lovely few hours. There was lots to see with split levels that kept your interest. The penguins were nice, the octopus made an appearance and we would have loved to see more of the otters., we see the otters.. There is plenty to see, read and touch. My grand daughter loved it all, the turtle in the tunnel is beautiful . It was clean, and we had a great time, would definitely go back, staff were helpful,its really nice and deserve to be visited again and again.

For a smaller town the Art Museum as great. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it if you are traveling to Birmingham. Make sure to call ahead to see if they are open.

After we dropped off our luggage at the hotel, we had a big meal at a Michelin one-star restaurant, and then we began to get to know the city. First we came to Victoria Square, where a building imitating a Greek temple caught our eye. It turned out to be their town hall. Next to it was a beautiful Baroque building, the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, which was also free to visit. So we went in for a stroll. There were not many people, and the exhibits were quite rich, ranging from ancient Egypt to current art.

There are Chinese Super League, restaurants, and many other specialty restaurants to choose from.
It&#39;s not hard to find something to eat here.
However, the food at this restaurant was a bit disappointing.
