Tariq Atui from Lebanon is a sound artist and composer. His works revolve around performance and sound creation, and he also conceives some complex and novel instruments. As he puts it, "music and new technologies are powerful means to express and emphasize identity."
This exhibition is the artist's first solo exhibition in Italy. Through installations, complex acoustic environments and collaborative performances, Atui experiments around the concept of listening. "In Milan, my proposal is a tribute to improvisation," the artist explained.

Definitely worth the money as the lift options leaves you with much energy to explore the crooks and corners of the Duomo at the top two levels. You still need to climb another 90 steps to the rooftop terrace so best to take the lift. Plus you need to walk down the steps all the way to the church interior. The extra is worth it because the view is spectacular!

The surrounding area is very lively and suitable for taking pictures, but the tourists are slightly crowded. Pigeons are not afraid of people and add a little fun. The subway is super convenient, but be careful to peddle hawkers. The overall atmosphere is great, free and open, must visit Milan!
