Tidewater Players and STAR Summer Camps are thrilled to bring an exciting new musical to Havre de Grace! This intriguing and beautiful folk opera delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience. Following two intertwining love stories – that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of immortal King Hades and lady Persephone – Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Inspired by traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, Mitchell’s beguiling sung-through musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love. THIS IS A TWO-WEEK SUMMER CAMP June 30 - July 11 (No camp on July 4) (Performances July 11 @7PM and July 12 @ 2PM & 7PM) 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM FEE: $350 3 full theatrical performances at the conclusion of camp: July 11 & 12. Tickets to performances will be sold separately.
