Join us as we celebrate 50 Years on Ice at Terry Conners Rink! The Stamford Sharks Youth Hockey Association (SYHA) and Terry Conners Rink are coming together to commemorate this momentous occasion. Since 1973, SYHA and TCR have been an integral part of the Stamford community, fostering strong connections and creating unforgettable memories both on and off the ice.

On Friday, October 13th from 7:00-11:00 PM, the Italian Center of Stamford will be the venue for this remarkable event. It's an opportunity to reconnect with friends, teammates, and coaches while honoring the individuals and families who played a vital role in shaping this hockey program and facility. The evening will be filled with delicious food, unlimited wine and beer, raffles, silent auctions, and live auctions to raise funds for SYHA.

At SYHA, we believe that hockey should be accessible to everyone, regardless of experience or socioeconomic status. That's why we offer scholarships exceeding $20,000 annually, ensuring that children who may not have the means can still participate in this beloved sport. Our goal for the next 50 years is to expand our scholarship program, ensuring future generations can experience the same joy and camaraderie we've had at TCR. Together, let's pass the puck forward!

Terry Conners Rink, owned and operated by the City of Stamford, has been a cherished home for Stamford Youth Hockey, Skating Club of Southern Connecticut, Terry Conners Synchronized Skating Teams, and various high school hockey teams. Since 1973, TCR has provided affordable hockey, figure skating, and basic skills programs to residents of Stamford and its surrounding areas. It's a place where the community comes together, united by their love for the ice.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, we are offering various sponsorship levels and ticket options. From Diamond to Silver, each sponsorship level includes four tickets and 50th Anniversary Jerseys, serving as a lasting memento of this historic event.
