The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and the State Russian Museum are jointly presenting the exhibition project "Museums' Merit." Commemorating the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, the exhibition is dedicated to all those who defend contemporary culture and pays tribute to the heroic deeds of Alla Andreeva, an employee of the Soudja Regional History Museum. The exhibition tells the story of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts from 1941 to 1945 and the dedicated service of its employees. Models, drawings, images, and archival documents will be on display. Fifty-five unique photographs by the renowned photographer Nikolai Sveshov-Paola will be exhibited for the first time. This artist's work is not only a photographic chronicle but also a rare masterpiece of art.
