The film centres on the changes to UK protest laws over recent years, and the issue of judges restricting what defendants say in court about their reasons for their actions. Trudi Warner, who found herself charged with contempt of court after silently holding up a sign outside the Court will introduce the film and moderate a discussion afterwards.
Her sign quoted a 400 year old legal principle, that a jury has the right to acquit depending on their consicence, which was established during the trial of two Quakers in 1670.
The film is rated as a 15, and contains flickering or flashing lights that may affect those with photosensitive epilepsy
