The Open Words Poetry Slam Qualifier #2 is a highly anticipated event taking place in Winter Park, Florida on August 30, 2023. Hosted at Austin's Coffee, this poetry competition promises an evening of artistic expression and intense competition. The rules for participation are simple. The list opens at 8pm, with the slam commencing at 9pm sharp. A panel of 3-5 random judges, selected from the audience, will evaluate each poet's performance based on content, form, originality, and more, assigning scores ranging from 0 to 10. To compete, poets must prepare two original poems, with the first round featuring a maximum of 12 participants. The top five highest-scoring poets from the first round will then advance to the second round, where they will vie for the ultimate title. Each poem must adhere to a strict 3:10-minute time limit, with any second over resulting in a full point deduction.

The Open Words Slam also offers a chance for the top two poets of the night to qualify for the prestigious Slam on September 27th. This grand event will determine who will represent Orlando Poetry Slam and Wednesday Open Words at the esteemed Exit 36 Poetry Slam Festival in Pompano Beach, Florida.

As an ordinary tourist, I thought the procedure to enter the Capitol Building was very complicated, but I didn&#39;t expect that I could enter and visit just by checking the bags I brought with me.
This building was built in 1885 and covers an area of ​​51 acres. It was designed by architect Elijah E Myer in imitation of the Capitol Building in Washington. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and was named a National Historic Landmark in 1986.
It is amazing that the passage of time has not affected its appearance and internal structure at all. It is as new as ever. Visitors can visit the government offices and have time to visit the exterior of the building to appreciate this century-old building from all angles.
