Come join us for an extraordinary poetry reading! Responders is an integrated performance that focuses on three poets of different backgrounds making connections in the moment. The premise: each poet spontaneously selects poems from their work in response to the catalyst of the previous poem. Gale Burns, Selina Rodrigues and Keith Jarrett are award-winning poets and seasoned performers and hosts. Expect it to be a warm, varied, experimental night. Ten open-mic slots are available - this includes up to five willing poets who wish to participate by reading their own poem in response to any of ours. Please select 'open mic' if you wish to sign up for a slot. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. There will be a 20-minute interval. ------ About the poets Gale Burns is a founder of the influential Poetry Shuffle reading. He has won international awards for his poetry which has been translated into several languages.
