Noritake was founded in 1904 (Meiji 37) with the aim of manufacturing dinner sets for export. A dinner set is a set of tableware with a set size and purpose for the number of people. Since successfully manufacturing such sets in 1914 (Taisho 3), the company has developed and sold shapes and patterns to meet market needs.
At times, the company has sought added value beyond the tableware's original function and design in order to provide products that are in line with the times.
This trend accelerated after the period of high economic growth. When consumers had the financial means to spend on interior design, Noritake sold ceramic reproductions of works by painters, calligraphers, and illustrators. In the mid-1960s, when the penetration rate of black-and-white televisions exceeded 90%, the company also began to produce melamine children's tableware decorated with characters from anime and puppet shows.
The 1970s marked an era of fashion and diversification of everyday items. Noritake, which places emphasis on developing high-value-added products that add color to life, began manufacturing and selling tableware in 1977 in collaboration with a famous fashion designer. This was the beginning of the boom in designer and character products in the ceramics industry. This led to an increase in design collaborations and joint development with artists and other companies.
In recent years, with the growth of content businesses such as manga and anime, the needs and target demographics of character products have expanded. The expansion of sales networks with the spread of online services has increased consumers' options, and products are increasingly required to have value other than functionality and a story. Against this backdrop, collaborations that utilize the mutual advantages of companies are not uncommon.

Legoland is a true LEGO fan&#39;s paradise! Stepping into the park is like entering a dream world built from building blocks. The &quot;Mini Continent&quot; meticulously recreates attractions from across Japan using over 10 million LEGO bricks, offering exciting interactive experiences at the touch of a button. The rides are also incredibly creative, with the &quot;Dragon Roller Coaster&quot; featuring a LEGO dragon belching steam as it swoops down, a thrilling experience. The Creative Workshop allows you to build your own LEGO creations, giving you a sense of accomplishment. The park&#39;s food is also unique, with LEGO-shaped pizzas and ice cream that are both delicious and adorable. In short, there&#39;s something for everyone, whether you&#39;re a kid or a grown-up.

Port Of Nagoya Public Aquarium

The North Pavilion focuses on whales and dolphins, featuring killer whales, beluga whales, and two species of dolphins. The water area is adequate, but only the dolphins performed that day; it seems the killer whales won&#39;t be performing soon. The South Pavilion is divided into several areas with different themes, and the route is well-planned, so there&#39;s rarely any backtracking. The Sardine Storm is in the South Pavilion, and the turtle area is also quite nice. The water area is large enough to house green, loggerhead, and hawksbill turtles, and a simulated beach is provided for turtles to come ashore and lay their eggs. There&#39;s also a wealth of rare deep-sea and polar marine life. Overall, I recommend it.

Nagoya Castle at 4 PM was beautiful, and I even caught a ninja and cat tour.

We dragged our feet until 4 PM, and the lady at the gate 🧍&zwj;♀️ said we could only visit for an hour, which meant we were finished at 5 PM!

I didn&#39;t expect it to be a student tour day, so I saw a ton of students coming out the moment I entered. I even ran into a couple of ninjas leaving their jobs, and a sleeping cat!

Although the temple tour ended at 4:30 PM, I was a little disappointed I didn&#39;t make it, but Nagoya Castle was truly beautiful and I was quite moved...

Atsuta-jingu Shrine

We went there at night.
We were rushing to see time-limited attractions during the day.
The shrine is open all day, so we went there at night.
There were not many people in the shrine.
We saw several buildings with ancient charm.
We also saw a wine association listing various wines, which was very interesting.
