A unique opportunity to take part in a workshop facilitated by Rosalyn Cooke - Physiotherapist. Ros has worked with The England Roses, The Lionesses and multiple elite women's teams. She is co-founder of the Active Woman's Clinic - a female athlete-specific clinic, focusing on delivering holistic care throughout women's lives. Ros will be leading an interactive worshop exploring different aspects of playing the game. Areas she will look at include: Managing and training with the menstrual cycleWarm up as a vehicle for injury preventionPregnancy, postpartum and motherhoodThe importance of physical activity and movement for girlsTwo workshops are scheduled for 21/1/25 to coincide with the Norwich Winter League and to allow players, who have a match that evening, to access one or the other event. Sessions will run from 18:15-19:45 and from 20:15-21:45 in the John Jarrold room at the Sportspark There will be a half an hour interval from 19:45-20:15, where attendees for either workshop can help themselves to some food/light refreshments in the room. Workshop costs to cover refreshments. The workshop is delivered in collaboration with Clare Currie and the theatre piece Cold Snap, Norwich Arts Centre, 16/02/2025 and is delivered with support from Arts Council England, Norfolk County Council, LJHope Productions and Jumped Up Theatre.
