The special exhibition "Traces of Horses and Carriages - Transportation and Exchange on the Silk Road", an important cultural project to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Colombia and Colombia's joining the "Belt and Road" initiative, was grandly opened at the Casa Lleras Museum in Bogota, the capital of Colombia. The exhibition was guided by the Gansu Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau and supported by the China Cultural Relics Exchange Center. It was jointly organized by the Gansu Provincial Museum, Qingcheng County Museum, Gaotai County Museum and Jorge Tadeo Lozano University of Colombia. Wang Nannan, director of the Exhibition Department of the Gansu Provincial Museum, said at the opening ceremony that Gansu, as the core channel connecting the Central Plains and the Western Regions, is not only the main artery of ancient East-West trade, but also a "golden corridor" for the integration of multiple civilizations. The Colombian special exhibition "Traces of Horses and Carriages - Transportation and Exchange on the Silk Road" is the first overseas exhibition. The exhibition has three units: "Ancient Road", "Trade" and "Integration". Taking the means of transportation on the ancient Silk Road as clues, it systematically presents the life scenes brought about by the prosperity of trade on the Silk Road by displaying more than 70 pieces/groups of exquisite replicas of Silk Road cultural relics and pictures. It tells the story of the trade, urban prosperity, cultural exchanges, and social life along the ancient Silk Road, and promotes the current significance of the Silk Road spirit of peace, cooperation, openness, inclusiveness, mutual learning, mutual benefit and win-win.

Gold Museum

The Gold Museum is a famous attraction in Bogota, the capital of Colombia.
It houses about 30,000 exquisite gold objects made by Indians from the 20th century BC to the 16th century AD, which are displayed according to different periods and regions.
The exhibits in the Gold Museum are only a small part of the Indian artifacts that have been excavated. Many precious artworks have been almost stolen by colonists from Spain and other countries over the past few hundred years. However, even from these preserved gold objects, people can see the wisdom and artistic level of the Colombian people.
The ticket price is 4,000 pesos per person, which is less than 6 yuan in RMB. It is free to visit on Sundays.
