Sound Bath Meditation 
experience led by Lyn Sakari, certified meditation teacher, reiki practioner and Sound Ceremonialist. The Crystal Tones alchemy singing bowls used, infused with gemstones and precious metals, have been thoughtfully selected for their high quality and integrity. Lyn's set of bowls are one of a kind and lovingly named 'Unity Consciousness' and are complementary to the other instruments included in the sound scape journey. You can expect to feel relaxed, restored and refreshed as your nervous system has the chance to recalibrate and attune to the vibrations, all within a safe container. The experience evokes a sense of deep listening, while allowing release and restoration to occur, leaving a sense of calm and invigoration. Modern science is now confirming the transformational effects of this ancient practice and it's ability to rekindle harmony to mind, body and spirit. This is an experience to be 
FELT
 in real life.
Benefits of Sound Meditation include calm and peaceful states as brain waves shift from an active state (Beta) to a relaxed state (Alpha) or a dreamlike state (Theta) and the parasympathetic nervous system is signaled- inducing rest and recovery. The healing benefits of this practice can reveberate long after the session end and can include boosted mood, enhanced immune response, cellular repair, enhanced creativity, reduced stress and anxiety.

A beautiful space in the heart of Queens Park, surrounded by Mother Nature's glory- we have the fire place on in the colder months and have a lovely view of the park in the spring/summer.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES:
Be respectful of the space and others: adjusting your position during the practice is okay, please do so quietly with the understanding that others may be in a deeper state of relaxation. Likewise, it is common to become so relaxed that you or the person beside you falls asleep! We ask for an agreement of collective permission to be gently nudged awake should you begin to snore.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good physical and mental health prior to attending. Please consult a medical professional should you have any concerns about joining a session.
All sessions are sober events, please arrive free of any substance use.
For everyone's comfort and safety we cannot admit latecomers to the venue.

10 class pass is available for $250

Due to limited space at this venue - your spot is reserved only once payment is received.
We are not able to provide refunds. Tickets are transferable to another particpant for the same event but not a future date - if you are no longer able to attend, please gift your ticket to a loved one.
WHAT TO BRING:
Please bring what you need to make yourself comfortable - a yoga mat, pillow or cushion, blanket, eye covering and dress in comfortable clothing. You are welcome to stay seated for the practice and chairs are available.
MEET YOUR GUIDE:
Lyn Sakari became certified as a meditation teacher in 2017 through Moment Meditation after two decades of a personal practice. Her passion for making mindfulness and meditation practices accessible in a safe and supportive environment led her to create 'Sit With Sakari' whose mission is to build community while awakening the individual. A lifelong student -Lyn is also certified in and continuosly studying: MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), Reiki (Holy Fire Lineage), Kirtan (Bhakti Yoga), sound healing and is a Sound Ceremonalist, certified as a sound bath musician. She trained formally at The Sound Bath Centre in LA (recognized by the International Sound Therapy Association). Included in her sound scape journey are Crystal Tones alchemy singing bowls which are infused with gemstones and precious metals, thoughtfully selected because of their integrity and resonance. Lyn's set is one of a kind and appropriately named 'Unity Consciousness'. She is a Guide at Kolm Kontrast as well as The Mindful Lab and is passionate about creating space where community can come together to receive the practice of Sound, alongside curating private and corporate Sound events.
