Uitmarkt (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈœytmɑr(ə)kt]; English: Out Market) is the opening of Amsterdam's cultural season, held every year on a weekend at the end of August, usually in and around Leidseplein, Museumplein and Nieuwmarkt. Many theatres are open free of charge, showcasing a wide range of performances including classical music, ballet, hip-hop, cabaret, literary readings and films. In addition to this, there are stalls in the square and surrounding streets selling books or providing information about various cultural events for the next year. 
The name literally means "outmarket", which refers to "going out" (to see a show).

Had amazing time knowing the house and the writings. Just not encouraging elderly people with limited mobility to come due to climbing stairs is not easy.
