I visited Yunnan Wildlife Park during the off-season, so there were fewer people and more space to explore. The only animal I saw for the first time was a binturong. The park&#39;s biggest draw is its size. I walked at least 10,000 steps on the sightseeing bus. The 16-kilometer journey without the bus would have been even more daunting. Lion and Tiger Mountain is literally a mountain climb.

I don&#39;t know if it&#39;s aesthetic fatigue or just sheer exhaustion from climbing mountains, but seeing the ugly animals actually energized me.

Daguan Park, nestled on the shores of Dianchi Lake in the western suburbs of Kunming, is home to the Grand View Tower, often described as &quot;a tower amidst a thousand miles of clouds and mountains,&quot; giving the park its name.

The Grand View Tower, one of my country&#39;s most famous towers, was originally built in 1828 and offers a prime spot for viewing Dianchi Lake. The breathtaking views from the tower provide a breathtaking backdrop, earning it the name &quot;Grand View Tower.&quot;

The park is named after the 180-character &quot;longest couplet of all time&quot; written by the renowned Qing Dynasty scholar Sun Ranweng. Based on its topography, the park can be roughly divided into three sections: near Huapu and the Grand View Tower; Louwailou and Lu Garden; and Yu Garden, the Flower Garden, and the Cypress Garden.

The clock tower is 25 meters high and the floor is cross-shaped. 12 wing angles on each floor and 36 wing angles on three floors are like a group of Mingfeng flying. Up the clock tower, you can see the mountains and scenery around Kunming. The best place to see is the bell on the 3rd floor.

It would have been quite convenient to walk from Gantong to Xima Cao and then pay the 50 yuan per person difference to take the cable car down the mountain, but now you have to climb 1,200 steps to get to Xima Cao, which is a bummer. They are currently building another staircase or elevator nearby, so it may be improved in the future.

Black Dragon Pond is located in the north of Kunming City. It is named after the Black Dragon Temple, springs and legends of the Black Dragon in the park. Winter is a good season for plum blossoms. The yellow winter plum blossoms bloom in succession, and the fragrance wafts over. The family can&#39;t help but recite a sentence, &quot;The fragrance of plum blossoms comes from the bitter cold&quot; and &quot;The fragrance floats&quot;. Even the children ask everyone to play flying flowers with her. There are many squirrels in the park. Because they are often fed by people, the squirrels are not afraid of people. You will come down to eat immediately after you put food! It looks very cute with two little hands holding cough melon seeds, but it also keeps alert at all times. Once someone suddenly approaches, it will immediately retreat to the tree to observe, and also be alert to the attack of wild cats in the distance. It looks like a survival war in the animal world will be staged at any time. The back mountain is not high, you can take your children to climb up slowly, which is also a workout for children who do not exercise much in the city now. In short, there are few people and the air is good. You can take your children to see plants, climb mountains, feed fish, and it is suitable for strolling!
