The 5th Annual Uptown Chalk the Block 5K Run/Walk is set to take place in Somerset, Pennsylvania on July 28th, starting at 9:00 am. The event will kick off at Union Street Playground and culminate Uptown in the heart of the action. This year's race will feature a modified course, ensuring that participants finish on Main Street amidst the vibrant artwork and buzz of the event. Walkers will have a separate start following the runners. Early bird registrants by July 12th will receive an exclusive event tee shirt, while day-of registrations are welcome with shirts subject to availability. Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall finishers for both male and female categories, as well as the top finisher in each age group. Age categories range from 10 & under to 70+.
