Join us on Saturday, June 14th for an acting and movement workshop! Local devised theater artist and dancer, Anya Hernandez, will lead us through a workshop about movement as an actor, using the Viewpoints method. Viewpoints acting technique, developed by directors Anne Bogart and Tina Landau, is a training method focused on movement and physical expression, particularly through elements of space and time. It encourages actors to move beyond psychological portrayal and embrace a more physical, intuitive approach to character and scene creation.
