Passing through Lawley and Vane’s Coppice, this walk offers a mix of open vistas and ancient woodland, with a terrain that varies from fields to hills. Expect some muddy spots and stiles along the way, but no steps. While not suitable for dogs, children aged 12-18 can participate when accompanied by a responsible adult. The Iron Bridge is the first iron bridge on the River Severn. Due to the limited metallurgical technology at the time, the entire bridge was made of gray cast iron. There was no steelmaking technology at the time, and gray cast iron was relatively brittle, so now the bridge is only used for viewing. At present, vehicles are prohibited from passing on the bridge, but pedestrians can pass through, which is worth a visit.
