The Town of Walkerville was incorporated in 1890, and was founded by 
Hiram Walker
, owner and producer of 
Canadian Club
 
Whisky
. It was once a distinct town separate from Windsor where Walker not only established homes for his workers, but he also dedicated a church to his late wife, and a school and several other important buildings. Many of these structures developed outwards from his landmark distillery.
Join us on a 3-kilometer, one and a half hour walking tour of Walkerville, one of Windsor’s most distinct and beautiful neighborhoods. We will discuss the commercial buildings, houses and streetscapes of interest in this historic district.
