Shihu Garden is rectangular in plan, formed by three axes of ancient architecture: central, western, and eastern. The central axis buildings and their courtyards form the main body of the garden. Within the garden, there are 34 structures, including towers, terraces, pavilions, study rooms, and guest rooms, totaling 67 rooms. These structures are connected by curved bridges and corridors, and are dotted with fish ponds and rockery. The main building is Yanxiang Tower, a three-bay, two-story building.

Shihu Garden borders Guojia Lane to the west, with residential courtyards to the east and north. The entire area is divided into three spans: the east and west sides are relatively open garden-style courtyards, while the middle span is a pure garden. The three spans run parallel, with the middle span dedicated to a garden, creating a front garden style.

Shihu Garden is a renowned ancient garden that incorporates the essence of northern and southern garden architecture while developing unique developments within this framework. Today, it serves as a cultural relic exhibition hall for Weifang City, having previously been the site of the Weifang Museum. A diverse collection of cultural relics is displayed in rotating batches and is open to the public, enriching this renowned garden with rich cultural heritage.

The mountain is not high, with an altitude of 421 meters. Since we drove up a section to the parking lot, we estimated that the actual climbing distance was only about 300 meters. There are many historical sites on the mountain and the scenery is also very good. The walls of the stone houses are about 1.8 meters thick, and they have a sense of age!
