Join the Women's Intro to Navigation and Route Planning weekend in Edale. This introductory event is designed for women and non-binary individuals who are new to navigation and map reading. Hosted at Ollerbrook Farm Bunkhouses, this weekend retreat aims to build confidence in outdoor exploration. Participants will meet at the YHA on Friday evening for a relaxed get-together and initial navigation and route planning activities. Start your Saturday with a group breakfast and a review of the previous night's information before venturing into the surrounding hills to practice your newly acquired skills. Return to the YHA for refreshments and a group dinner. On Sunday, enjoy another group breakfast followed by a full day of practicing navigation techniques. The ticket price includes a two-night stay at the private Nabs View Bunkhouse, led by a qualified Mountain Guide, and group meals. Please note that travel, lunches, snacks, and equipment are not included. Bring your own sleeping bag, towel, backpack, walking boots, warm hiking clothes, waterproof gear, and other necessities.
