Experience the joy of creating your very own ceramic mug at the two-session workshop, "Workshop: Ceramic Mugs," hosted by The Newark Museum of Art. This winter, take the opportunity to learn a new skill and give yourself or a friend a unique gift. The workshop will guide you through the process of designing and crafting a coil mug that you can cherish for years to come. 

During the first session, you will learn the art of coil mug making and bring your design to life. To complete the process, each piece will be fired in a kiln. In the second session, you will have the chance to glaze and decorate your mug, adding a personal touch. The workshop will take place on January 13 and February 3, from 10 am to 1 pm. 

Please note that after the firing process, you will need to return to the museum to pick up your finished piece. All mugs will be ready for pick-up by Friday, February 9.
