The Y5/6 Tunbridge Wells Dynamo Cricket Tournament is an exciting event for schools in the Tunbridge Wells SGO area. Taking place at The Nevill Ground in Royal Tunbridge Wells on April 24, 2024, the tournament will see schools competing for a chance to progress to the Kent County Finals. Teams of 8 players, with a maximum of 10, can enter up to 2 teams each, with a requirement for 2 girls to be playing at all times. The format includes group matches followed by semi-finals for the top teams, with play-off games for the others. Only schools from the Tunbridge Wells/High Weald area are eligible for the county finals. Teachers will need to umpire using the Countdown Cricket app, with rules based on Dynamos Cricket Rules. Participants should be in Y5/Y6, and a free hit rule will apply at the county finals for successful teams. Parking is limited, and parent spectators are welcome.
