YEG Cake Social Picnic
No cake, no entry. No crumbs, no shame.
Here’s how it works:
You bring:
One 
whole, uncut cake
 (6" round, 5" tall minimum size - but you can do better than that, right?!?)
A written 
name + description
 of your cake, including 
allergens
Your 
ticket
A 
blanket or chairs
 if you’d like to hang out after you load up on cake
No cupcakes, half-cakes, or pre-cut slices—don’t test us.
We provide:
A
 box
 to fill with as many slices as you can fit (as long as it closes!)
A 
cake serving utensil
 for every cake
Fork and napkins
 so you can eat cake like the frosting royalty you are
Schedule:
Arrive anytime after 10:00 AM
 to check in with your cake, but before 11:00 AM
You’ll get a 
numbered ticket
 and your cake will be placed on a table with its info
At 11:00 AM
, ticket holders will be called up (in order!) to load their boxes with cake slices
Be kind, courteous, and leave some for the next person
Want to bring a friend or your tiny humans? Go for it—but only the person who brought the cake gets the ticket, box, and turn through the line. They can wait nearby on your blanket or chairs. Sharing is encouraged, fighting over cake is not.
Bonus points if you complete AHS’s free 
Safe Food Handling Course
 before you bake.

 This is a not-for-profit, community-led event. By attending, you accept full responsibility for food safety and any risks involved. Organizers are not liable for illness, injury, or excessive cake-induced joy. The ticket price goes towards rental of the picnic site, provided boxes, cutlery, napkin and organizing the event. Any extra funds will be donated to the YEG Food Bank.
