Специални гости: Андрей Лекарски По време на изложбата ще имате възможност да видите филма за Андрей Лекарски, озаглавен „Хляб от бронз“, по сценарий и реализация на Юрий Дачев. След официалното откриване ще имате възможност да разгледате изложбата и да се насладите на чаша българско вино. Андрей Лекарски е един от най-значимите съвременни художници със завидна международна кариера. Още през 1975 г. неговата изложба в престижната галерия „Лилиан Франсоа“ в Париж привлича вниманието на влиятелни критици и медии като L’Art Vivant и Le Quotidien de Paris. Те описват неговите творби като свежа глътка въздух за зрителите, които копнеят за изкуство с дълбок смисъл и визуална привлекателност. Лекарски успешно съчетава сюрреалистични оттенъци с оригинална техника, доближаваща се до фотографията, което го отличава в артистичния свят. С течение на годините Лекарски става известен със своите „безразсъдни скулптури“, както ги нарича Le Monde de l’Art. Съчетавайки иронията на традиционните форми с гигантски размери и обикновени предмети, той постига баланс между сатира и дълбоката драматичност на човешкото тяло и душа. Неговите скулптури като „Стъпалото на Аполон“ и „Ръката на съдбата“ създават мощни символи за прехода и свободата, които са признати в международни арт събития и изложби в Европа. Нестандартният му подход към класическата естетика и умението му да влее хумор и нов живот в познатите канони за красота го правят един от най-оригиналните творци на нашето време. Лекарски прави своята първа самостоятелна изложба в България. Филмът проследява богатия му живот, преминал през различни епохи и държави, като самият Лекарски, с чувство за хумор, нарича себе си „номад“. Andrey Lekarski is one of the most significant contemporary artists with an impressive international career. As early as 1975, his exhibition at the prestigious  Lilian François  gallery in Paris attracted the attention of influential critics and media outlets such as L’Art Vivant and Le Quotidien de Paris. They described his works as a fresh breath of air for viewers craving art with deep meaning and visual appeal. Lekarski skillfully combines surrealistic tones with an original technique, close to photography, which sets him apart in the art world. Over the years, Lekarski became known for his  reckless sculptures,  as Le Monde de l’Art calls them. By blending the irony of traditional forms with oversized everyday objects, he achieves a balance between satire and the deep drama of the human body and soul. His sculptures, such as  Apollo’s Foot  and  The Hand of Fate,  create powerful symbols of transition and freedom, recognized in international art events and exhibitions across Europe. His unconventional approach to classical aesthetics and ability to inject humor and new life into established beauty standards make him one of the most original artists of our time. Lekarski’s works not only rethink tradition but also challenge viewers to reflect on the meaning of life and art. He masterfully balances intellectual playfulness and emotional depth, making him an exceptional figure not only in Bulgaria but across Europe.  Bread of Bronze  is a documentary portrait of the internationally renowned Bulgarian artist and sculptor Andrey Lekarski. His works are part of the collections of prestigious galleries around the world, especially in France, where he has lived for over 50 years. In 2015, Lekarski held his first solo exhibition in Bulgaria. The film follows his rich life, spanning different eras and countries, with Lekarski humorously describing himself as a  nomad.  He shares his thoughts on the commercial side of art and recounts a recent incident in Bulgaria where part of his bronze bread series was stolen.

I was so lucky that my trip to London coincided with Buckingham Palace&#39;s open day. Booking tickets on Ctrip was very convenient. I chose the 2pm show, watched the Changing of the Guards in the morning, and had lunch nearby. I was just in time to enter the palace. You can&#39;t take pictures of the magnificent interior, but you can take pictures of the Royal Gardens as much as you want!
